Ezra Williams, Laura J. Stanton, Paul Skidmore

An evening of selections from the forthcoming music- drama, "Newton," with a cast of international soloists drawn from both the classical and musical theatre worlds.


Paul Skidmore and Laura J. Stanton have written the book and lyrics and  Ezra Williams has composed the music to a musical about the life of Isaac Newton.


Laura is a supporting artiste in TV and Film. Paul runs a philosophy group in Pinner, has numerous degrees in science and philosophy and is also a qualified mathematics teacher.


Ezra Williams trained at the Purcell School of Music and the Royal College of Music (where he won the Herbert Howells Prize). An accomplished singer, pianist, teacher, composer, published author who has performed internationally.  He has taken part in master classes with many eminent soloists - Placido Domingo, Robert Tear, Daniel Barenboim, Yehudi Menuhin, Magnus Lindberg, Philip Langridge, Sir Peter Maxwell Davis, Luciano Pavarotti, Dankworth & Laine and many more.


His compositions have been performed all across the world. The South Bank Centre featured him as a London composer several times . He was the latest in the Byrd line (from William Byrd) until his son Eli happily usurped his claim to that title. While still at school, HRH Prince Charles personally invited him to perform at Buckingham Palace.
