Annette Gregory and Friends: Jazz and Me

Annette Gregory is a jazz singer who is blessed with incredible vocal tones that are rich, smooth and full of soul.

Annette will be reflecting on her musical Journey, into Jazz.  Annette successful Ella tour, Ladies of Jazz tour,  has proven her jazz credentials. Annette now wants to share the full insight into, her musical heritage of reggae and soul music, Giving some of her favourite songs a jazz feel, but still leave room for those classic jazz standards.

Paprika

Paprika is the UK’s leading Balkan band. Hailing from Serbia, Romania and the UK, the six members comprise the unusual instrumentation of violin, two accordions, guitar, bass and percussion. The virtuosity and immediacy of their performances has taken them to a great variety of venues, from classical concert halls to raucous club nights.

Lemon Tuesday – so good to be hear

We’d love you to see us at Watford Museum as part of the Watford Fringe. We’ll be singing pop and show tune favourites and it’s our first concert in 2021 so we can’t wait. See you at 3pm on the 3rd October!

Admission free but we’ll be collecting donations to raise funds for Rennie Grove Hospice.

Honeysuckle Jazz Band performs oldies from the 1920s- 1940s with their own special spin, including vocals, horns, piano, guitar, bass, and even musical saw! Band members hail from The USA, Oxford, St. Albans, and London. Come listen, sing, and dance with the band!
Members: Pam Pecko Smith vocals, Nick Gill piano, Andy Ruiz Palma guitar, Caroline Watsham, percussion and musical saw, Malcolm Earle Smith, trombone and vocals.

Time Out and Funny Women Awards nominee Celia Byrne in a joyful one-woman show that’s a unique blend of music, humour, and expressive dance.

Celia performs John Denver’s songs including ‘Annie’s Song’ and ‘Leaving on a Jet Plane’ and recalls her struggle to remain a loyal fan in the face of hostility from punk rockers and derision from the New Musical Express.

Celia Byrne is a veteran of the London theatre and music circuit. ‘A Glimpse of Gingham’ has delighted audiences at the Camden Fringe, Brighton Fringe and Manchester Women in Comedy festivals.

Watford Folk Club present a superb evening of folk music, that is not to be missed! Featuring Pete Nutkins, The Moorcrofters, Petrichor, Tom Lavin, The Stout Bros, and Julian Mount who will perform both traditional and contemporary folk songs and the best from our local singer/songwriter scene.
All our artists are well known in the folk world, having played at festivals and folk clubs throughout the UK and are excited to be part of this year’s Watford Fringe.
