A Journey Through Kathak
Footwork • Expression • Storytelling • Divinity
Immerse yourself in the timeless elegance of Kathak, the classical dance form of North India that seamlessly blends intricate footwork, graceful movements, and narrative expression. Rooted in centuries of tradition, Kathak - a living story told through rhythm, music, and emotion.
Tonight’s performance takes you on a journey that explores the navarasas—the nine emotions of classical aesthetics—evoked through the divine, the changing seasons, and traditional compositions and literature.
