What Would Love Do Now?

Companion Voices

What Would Love Do Now?' is an inspiring collection of songs, poems, readings and personal testimony about the end of life.
The title is taken from a poem by Soul Midwife Julie Barnes which was set to music in 2021 by Judith Silver. This piece and elements from Judith's play 'Mum Thumb' form the centrepiece of our event.
We weave together thought-provoking, uplifting readings and songs chosen to send you away with ideas and enthusiasm for open, rich conversations about choices and wishes at the end of life.
The event will include some of the amazing people who provide services and support for people who are dying and others who experience those deaths. One such service is Companion Voices, with the Herts & Chilterns group being the second in the UK. Companions will introduce the idea of singing for people at the end of life and you'll experience how we sing, like loving friends and family, at the bedside.
All profits will be shared between Companion Voices CIC and Rennie Grove Peace Hospice, Watford.
